Believe it or not, I’m not yet another narcissistic person with a blog. There’s actually a real purpose behind my posts and they’re for me. I’m what you might call a “Jack of all trades, master of nonemost” in that I touch many different aspects of IT. One of my biggest problems that I have is forgetting how I configured things like a year ago because I’ve moved on to the next project and forgot to write it down. I typically touch all aspects of networking, some programming and I’m starting to get into electronics (yet again!) Hopefully, this blog will be helpful to you but odds are good I’ll be using it more on a dailyweeklymonthly basis to do a data dump on something I just finished working on. I used to keep a lot of my projects written out in composition notebooks and legal pads but I think a digital format may work best.

Maybe with a little luck this site will help jog my memory on how I created that ACL on the ASA’s outside interface or remind me what I did to install that wildcard certificate on a LAMP server.
